The reality
Behind every application is a family making sacrifices.
Extra shifts. Delayed dreams. Years of savings.
All riding on one decision — shaped by Reddit posts, YouTube videos, consultancies paid per lead by the very universities they recommend, and someone else’s opinion about your future.
From zero information to full confidence.
The instant read above is step one. The full analysis takes 2 minutes.

Where do Indian students
go to study?
What does your life look like in 2030?
University A gives you better odds of PR but lower starting salary. University B pays more in year 1 but the visa path is uncertain. We simulate both — year by year.
- Year 1–7 salary trajectory with 7% annual growth
- Loan repayment timeline (honest, not optimistic)
- Visa status at each checkpoint
- Net savings and wealth accumulation
- PR probability and expected timeline
Parent Mode.
Built for how you think.
You don’t care about campus vibes. You care about: how much does it cost, can they afford the EMI, will they get a job, will they get PR, and is the city safe. Parent Mode shows exactly that.
View as a parentWe’re paid by you.
Not by universities.
Every consultancy, every ranking platform, every “free” guide you’ve read — most are funded by the universities they recommend. We are not. Here’s our commitment in writing.
We will never accept referral fees or commissions from universities
We will never show you a paid or 'sponsored' recommendation
We will never sell your data to consultancies or admissions offices
Every recommendation is driven purely by data — not commercial relationships
Asked by every family.
Answered honestly.
Is MyDegree actually free?
Yes. The instant read, your full analysis, comparisons, and simulations are free. We plan to offer optional premium reports later — paid by you, never by universities. We have no referral or commission income of any kind.
How are match scores calculated?
Every university is scored on four dimensions — admission fit, financial fit, employability, and settlement outlook — weighted by your profile. A PR-focused profile weights settlement more heavily; a return-to-India profile weights salary. Every score comes with the reasons behind it.
Where does your data come from?
Official university disclosures, government immigration statistics, and published graduate salary data. We show our sources, and we show uncertainty where it exists — projections are clearly marked as projections.
Are you a consultancy? Will someone call me?
No, and no. We don't employ counsellors, we don't sell your details to agents, and nobody will ever call you. MyDegree is a decision tool you use yourself — with your family.
My parents want to be involved. How does that work?
Parent Mode shows the same recommendations through a parent's lens: total cost, loan repayment timeline, safety, PR probability, and ROI — instead of campus life and rankings. One decision, both views.
Which countries do you cover?
USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Singapore, Netherlands, New Zealand, and the UAE — with program-level data across all of them.
